![]() It is now currently in the process of being disputed, so i need to wait a max of 90 days for it to conclude. Went to my car and called my credit card company to file a charge back. ![]() Once again, i was told the package was not there and that it had been delivered on 08/30. Frustrated beyond belief, i made my way to the UPS distribution center on Monday 09/24, where i wasted my time. They suggested i got to small claims against either UPS or the sender. Both departments said filing a report is useless since: 1) we dont know if UPS stole it 2) we dont know if they lost it 3) we dont know if it was stolen after delivery 4) i have literally zero information about the items - no serial numbers. After, i went to 2 different police departments to file a report. ![]() I called UPS right after to open the investigation for the 3rd time. They suggested i go to the police to file a police report. I was told by the sender on the 22nd that since UPS confirmed delivery, i would not be getting a refund or a replacement. I've tried emailing and tweeting them but no responses yet. Today i actually spent my whole lunch break on hold with them and STILL didn't get to talk to anyone. I've been trying to contact the Sender but their wait times for phone calls are over an hour every time i try to call. They have let the Sender know that my package is "officially" lost and that they need to refund or replace my package. This is honestly a load of bs.Ġ9/12 - UPDATE: After many phone calls with the UPS Investigations team, i have been informed that my Investigation has concluded on their end. The sender won't help me (refund or replacement) until UPS is done with their investigation.again. This sounds super shady, like someone from UPS is trying to hide something.Ġ9/11 - UPDATE 2: SOOO it looks like since the investigation was "re-opened", i have to wait an ADDITIONAL 8 business days. Unfortunately, that is a lie since I did not receive a package today. Said it was reported "Recovered and Redelivered". Thank you.Ġ9/11 - UPDATE: UPS told the sender of my package that they confirmed delivery today. I'd hate to think that my driver was being dishonest, but at this point, its all i can think that happened.Īny help would be greatly appreciated. Of course I called UPS right away and filed a claim, but my investigation officially ends tomorrow so I haven't had any useful updates. I asked all my neighbors, searched every where around my house, even my back yard. I ordered a very expensive and very limited item so imagine my frustration when i could not find it any where. I couldn't call home because i was really busy at work (even worked through my lunch hour), but i went home right after and there was no package. So imagine my surprise that my package was out for delivery at 9:02 am.and delivered at 9:59 am. Even if the package was "out for delivery at 8 am", our packages will take half a day to actually be delivered. Usually, when we get UPS packages, we get them in the afternoon, usually around 3 pm, sometimes later. My uncle was home all day (i was at work) and he did not see any UPS deliveries, they did not come by at all. Here's the TLDR - What i want to know is how does UPS go about investigating whether my package was lost or stolen? Also, can UPS employees/drivers be found stealing packages and if so, what does UPS do about it?Īnd here is the Too Long, But Still Read, back story: Now, on the UPS tracking site, it states my package was delivered on 8/30. Hi there, i've got a question about my lost/stolen package and i apologize in advance for the long post.
